About Me

My name is Trevor Scott Hamblin, I’m 21 years old, and I’m a junior at Truman State University. My majors (yes, plural) are English and communication (with a journalism focus). (Yes, that is overly complicated.) Among my great loves are novels, movies, television, cartoons, video games, and the concept of storytelling. I have always loved stories, how they are made and how they affect our daily lives. After all, if stories didn’t affect us, why would we build our
lives around telling them?

As for other information: I am a huge fan of cartoons, with my current favorites being Steven Universe, Miraculous Ladybug, and Voltron: Legendary Defender. As for TV Shows, I’m a big fan of Mad Men, Daredevil, and How to Get Away with Murder. (But I still need to catch up on all of those, so no spoilers!) My favorite movies of all time are The Incredibles, Coraline, and Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. For books, my favorites have always been young adult series that I spent a lot of time with, including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Kane ChroniclesChildren of the Lamp, and Pendragon. (The DJ Machale one. I understand there’s one focused on knights? It’s not that one.) But as far as “adult” novels I’m most well-read in mystery fiction, with my favorite being And Then There Were None.
