The Femme Fatale

Sorry I’m late this week.

And more bad news, this is going to be the last post from this blog. My project will be over following this post, meaning there will be nore more weekly looks into the characters of the media we consume daily. Hopefully this final post is good enough to sate you for a while, though!

The Femme Fatale, also known as the Vamp, is an enigmatic character that, like the damsel in distress, is overwhelmingly female in execution. Unlike the damsel in distress, however, the femme fatale plays a much more active role in the story. While they can sometimes dip into the role of villain or sidekick, or even also act as a damsel in distress, there’s only one thing that’s certain about her: she’s nothing but trouble.
